Overall Assessment
I have to admit that the weather really threw me off today. In Northern California, people get really worked up about even a light drizzle, so when they said that we were going to have a big storm… well, I didn’t believe it. I figured that I could easily run through a light rain. But then I woke up to 25 MPH winds and steady, driving rain, the kind that flooded my backyard. I kept thinking that it would taper off, but as sunset came and went, it was clear that there wasn’t going to be any outdoor activity.
All of my comfort foods are processed foods, so it’s a small miracle that I managed as many fruit and veggie servings as I did.
