This afternoon, I decided to do a bit of a light workout: stretching, sit-ups, push-ups, triceps dips. What surprised me the most was how winded I felt, like there wasn’t enough air in the room. I pretty quickly decided that this wasn’t the wisest course of action, and went back to doing my thing in front of the computer. About 15 minutes later, I was still feeling tired and winded, so out of curiosity I measured my pulse rate: 85 bpm. I checked my stats from my last two doctor’s appointments: 65 and 71 bpm, respectively. Clearly, my body is under some stress from whatever this virus is.

Ugh. On the bright side, I’ve gotten a lot of reading done, both for client projects and recreation, so maybe a forced slowdown is not a complete loss.
