Bringing Back the 40 Days

I’m bringing back the 40 Days challenge. Why? Because at the end of the year, as clients throw urgent projects my way and the holidays spiral out of control, what I need most is a little time for myself each day for brain and body. That time may involve exercise or it might just mean going offline and focusing on something different, like reading. Never underestimate the power of balance in the middle of the holiday season.

Why 40 days? Partly because it will take me through December and into the new year, and partly because I didn’t want to change the navigation on my website. So tomorrow, December 1, the next 40 days will begin. Would you like to join me?

You rock, Alisa. I woke up thinking the same thing. So, what did you commit to? I’m doing something new this week, too, IMPROV!! I did it, signed up and went to the first class today. Yowza, it’s a comfort zone buster. I’m going to continue to write and am still rocking my body 6 days a week. So, I’ll keep accountable with you on those two for 40 days, how about that?

This time is going to be more of a variety pack. I’m going to get back into my exercise routine and I really want to carve out time to get off the computer and read. Maybe my theme is mind/body balance.

Improv? Wow, talk about busting out of your comfort zone. I’d be terrified!
