I’ve seen lots of ads for the Uni-Ball 207 pen, all focused on prevention of check fraud. What they never seem to mention is that these pens are really great to write with. The ink flows nicely without smearing, and the specialty colors are vibrant and fun.
The orange pen, in particular, is fantastic. It’s as easy to read as a red editing pen, and would be both distinctive and brand-appropriate for my business. It would be fantastic to send my scanned edits to a client using a color that reflects my brand. I had grand plans for trading in my usual red for a few boxes of 12.
Then, disappointment. As far as I can tell, you can’t buy bulk quantities of anything other than the most common colors of black, blue and red. The orange is only available in the assorted-color pack of eight, and I can’t think of any use for that many excess sky blue, green, pink and purple pens that would make the assorted packs cost effective.
So Uni-Ball, if you’re listening: there are small business customers out here who would love to have a bulk purchase option for 25-50 orange pens. If you could find a way to make that happen, I would very much appreciate it.
try eBay! it’s a tad expensive but you do get only oranges.
