I’m not going to bore you with the details of my new project yet — at least not until I have more details to share — but I will tell you that it’s based on this woman: Betty.
Betty was my maternal grandmother. She was struck by lightning before she was 6, and lived to tell the tale. She lived on a farm and rode horses. She also taunted bulls, goats and geese, and became an expert runner and hurdler as a survival skill to escape some very pissed off animals. It shouldn’t be surprising that she was an all-around high school track star.
She eloped with a man 13 years her senior. She was a working mother before that was common. She cooked the same roast beef dinner every Sunday for decades. She had more than a few things to say about your diet and fitness, whether she knew you well or not. And I spent most of my life unfailingly convinced that she would outlive all of us.
She was a force to be reckoned with, and the legend of Betty will provide some good groundwork for the project to come.

okay, so you probably know this turns me on–but do you know that I’m marking this day in my calendar?! I can’t wait to hear more about what Betty Sez and what that means to you. YahoOO!!!! Love it, the photos and am your new biggest fan. . .now, for the t-shirt.
