Alisa’s experience spans several industries over the course of nearly two decades, and includes companies in the areas of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, network security, technology, medical insurance fraud and healthcare IT. She is a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA), the Society of Technical Communicators (STC), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Health Academy, and the San Francisco chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She was also a featured speaker on Freelancer Forum on Blog Talk Radio, describing how the Creative Freelancer Conference changed her business and transformed her into a creative renegade.
Alisa has accrued nearly half a million lifetime flight miles and has been to 38 states, eight countries and 26 major league ballparks. Born and raised near Philadelphia, she now lives in northern California with her husband and a curious kindergartener who ensures her eternal gratitude for powerful search engines that provide answers to all of his burning questions.
